About Us

Established in 1995
The English Shop was first opened by husband and wife team Nick and Mariette East in 1995 on Tjärhovsgatan on the island of Södermalm. Today we have two shops - in Söderhallarna, Stockholm and on Plantagegatan, Gothenburg. Our aim is to meet the needs of the ever-growing expatriate population in Sweden, as well as to introduce our Swedish customers to the culinary delights of English foods.
